Invited by Professor Jerry H. Bentley, University of Hawaii, Professor Xia JiGuo, Professor Liu Wenming and Miss Tianjing of Global History Center (GHC) of Capital Normal University (CNU) visited University of Hawaii in January 2010. Visitors involved themselves in both compulsory and optional classes for bachelor, master and Ph.D. students to know the world history/global history teaching at different levels. They gathered information on some frontier issues in world history/global history scholarship through their participation in various academic activities. The scholars made full use of the University library and collected valuable materials of the relevant research field. They did not miss the chance to enter the Global History Center of CNU into the interaction with World History Connected web as well.
