Wolf Sch?fer’s Research in New Global Historiography

Abstract: Global history, be it inChinaor outside, is yet to be constructed. Difference scholars have put forward differing conceptions about possible contents and frameworks of global history, each with its own set of unique insights and aspirations. This paper intends to familiarize readers about the German-American historian Wolf Schfer’s ideas about the researchability of global history and other issues related to global history construction, followed by a brief critique, to help enliven global history discussions.
